Not too shabby, jonvi. He's 6'10" with a 7'3" wingspan. But 6'8" Brandon Ashley has a 7'4" wingspan.

Aaron Gordon is 6'9" with a 7'0" wingspan and a 43" vertical. And he's our starting SF.
Nick Johnson is only 6'3", but he has a 6'7" wingspan and a 47" vertical. And he's the starting SG.

i dunno about national trends (SU fans are used to it) but a couple of years ago SU started building recruiting classed specifically around length and it paid off well. ESPN has been gloating about it for awhile now and I guess other teams are starting to catch on.
