A suspension is coming. I'm not sure why he didn't hide it better. The neck was smarter then his palm/wrist though.

No I think he really thought the neck would work, it didn't, and he just didn't care to argue it because it was obvious.

Most pitchers get some advantage by getting something onto a fresh ball. As I said I'm not sure why he is so bad at hiding the pine tar. The neck wasn't horrible, but still pretty dumb.

The palm was something kids do in little league. Not sure who he was trying to fool. I guess he forgot the game is on TV and there's cameras everywhere. Then the interview after the game when he said it was dirt lol.

I'm not sure how you mean this but pine tar isn't used like Vaseline. It doesn't go onto the ball in any meaningful way.
