I was pretty sure Hamilton was going to catch Verstappen but something slowed him to fifth. Bottas wins the race, followed by Verstappen, Perez, and LeClerc who ran a solid race.

Congrats to Hank for taking the points total for the race. Dude, you were due! Verstappen now leads Hamilton by 6 points going into the United States Grand Prix. Pro Champions Event 1 is next week if anyone wants to watch that event.

Other than that, if things work out, I am thinking of driving up to Austin to see the race in person. A lot of things have to fall into place but we shall see.

I would have changed my picks if I knew it was gonna be wet. I think Lewis would have taken it in the dry. Dangit.

Lewis wanted to try to go the whole race on one set of inters.

He should have either changed 6 laps earlier, or not bothered.

But the "TSN Turning Point" as they say on TV up here was when Perez defended his position successfully.

TSN is now broadcasting one channel in 4K.

And they picked up Sky's 4K feed for Quali.

And likely the race.

Pretty cool. And my 4K PVR can record it too.
