I didn't realize that F-1 was running this week-end but the second race in Bahrain is the one on the docket. With Hamilton diagnosed with Covid, they are going to run this race and the Abu Dhabi race for the season. Hamilton could officially miss both races and still win the championship. At any rate, we are still good as qualifying is tomorrow.

I will wait till after qualifying. Russell has been quickest in P1 and P2 but issues for both the real 2 heavy weights.

I am really keen to see what happens when the chips are down. It's an awkward track. Which will really be an issue in Q1 when 20 cars are on track all at once.

But to see Russell in the "top kit" is intriguing. And potentially bad for Bottas. He really doesn't want to be beaten by a young one off.

Popcorn ready. It's actually 9:30 AM my time for a change.

I still won't watch live though. Gonna overlap witha lot of NFL football. Good thing I've got cable, Sunday Ticket and two 6 barrelled PVRs. I'll probably watch the race in and amongst 4-8 NFL games., not counting the night game.

But qualifying is going to be cool.

This is gonna be the definition of crapshoot to predict.

No Lewis, strange track, massive traffic issues, short laptime, Max on faster tires at the start and no one has a clue how Russell is going to perform in the sharp end of the grid, and Leclerc sticking his face in there for the first time in a long time.

I think that win got him the RB seat. Albon is shit and Perez brings $$ too.

Albon's Thai heritage is part of the reason he's there though, isn't RB the drink partly Thai owned? No idea myself. I've never even held a can of Red Bull.

yeah that was unfortunate. Could have had a fairy tale ending for him if not for the screw up, but my understanding is that was the 1st time he scored points in F-1. & he had to drive back up to get the points he got. So I still give him kudos.
