Changes are risky but you have to really do some serious due diligence to make it work.

Congrats to Hank and forty_three for nailing down some serious points. Next up: Azerbaijan at the end of April. The 28th through the 30th and that race will be the first Sprint race for Qualifying in Saturday. Enjoy the month if April and I'll see everyone then!!

Impressive last minute changes.

Weird race made weirder by some unfortunate outcomes. 5 sec on Sainz seems very harsh on a single lap with the field bunched. Alpine effed themselves after Gasley was running by far their best race of the year. Hulk was in points and drove into a wall out of nowhere. Albon looked solid until the back of his car decided to give up.

I am still not real clear on how Alonso can crash on the last racing lap and get his position back on the "restart".

If they are saying that the incident "didn't happen" because the race never made it to the first sector line therefore no classification could happen, then how do you justify a 5 second penalty for Sainz?

Both couldn't have happened, IMO

Don't even get me started on a the red flags themselves. Gravel? Really?

The governing body for F-1 is a clown show. From continually changing start times to these ridiculous inconsistent penalities, they are trying to find their collective asses even when they are given a hand-drawn map. What's a fella to do?

It is a 100% FUBAR decision. No rhyme nor logic.

Hate to say it now as it sounds like sour grapes, but it all started back in Abu Dhabi 2021.

It's Clown College at the Circus and they've added a 6th ring.

No sour grapes Hank. I think you are spot on. This such a joke as the clown show can't get it of its own fast enough!

Sour grapes from Massa IMO. If what he claims is true and Alonso's teammate crashed on command to bring out the safety car. IMO that would be race strategy. Expensive race strategy, but still race strategy.
