It was sort of obvious that if Hamilton didn't get by at that point, he wasn't going to.

If Ferrari had their shit together they could have reigned in Leclerc instead of having him trying to overhaul the top 2.

Then Hamilton could have on the last lap pulled back to 8 seconds or so and gifted Vettel the win.

But Ferrari fucked that up too.

Yea and they (Ferrari) know it, Hank. No formal appeal has been filed with F-1 by Ferrari to date and they are running out of time. Looks as though the status quo for the Canadian Grand Prix has been upheld.

Onward we go to the French Open and Ferrari is going to have fix their corporate dysfunction in order to compete and beat the Silver Arrows otherwise they will continue to shoot themselves in the foot just like Vettel did succumbing to the pressure that Hamilton legitimately applied that resulted in Vettel making the driving mental error that he did. That led to his attempt to regain a lead he was losing which then resulted in a safety driving error and the win-stealing-applied penalty. Dumbass.
