Definitely was, especially since there was rain last night. Can you imagine the outrage if RB put Checo out there on pole with hards though? Everyone in the top 6 or so has to be on mediums at minimum

I 1000% agree it was only going to be he or Max winning this weekend, but can you imagine the manufactured drama of RB put Checo on hards on the pole?? What if Alonso gets around him at the 1st corner and he gets rear ended and taken out in a first lap/corner mix up? Everyone would have lost their minds. Not worth it, especially since they were so likely to finish 1-2 anyway
