Nick Young lol a bunch of under performers on one team. Kobe will mentor Beasley because yelling at people and demanding people to do things is what people like. Beasley will enjoy Kobe yelling at him when he misses a wide open 3 because Kobe "expects something out of you". Beasley is a perfect fit and him and Kobe will get a long great LOL.

The scenario you pointed out would be the most depressing one of all, and yes there's an outside shot it could happen.

I should note that Stern is hanging it up in February and handing the reins to Adam Silver (who might be a puppet ala Putin/Dimitry Medvedv, we can't rule this out. Trust no one!)
