they should have a contest the winner gets a war room visit.. i dont like the bpa because my bpa is center kelly and doctson at 21 but scotts could be ben stiller, and owen wilson thats why im looking at value at 21 instead of bpa when you are picking top 10 it should bpa + value but at 21 should be value + need + what is best for future that would be all pro center kelly or a Wr since garcon and djax could leave next year

I'd draft a DT or DE in the first for this reason. We aren't ready to truly compete yet. Even last year SM said we're a few years away from having a solid roster. I'd be happy going DT in both first and second. Our d-line isn't young nor solid, build it up with talented bulk/muscle that can get a year or two under their belt and will be ready to dominate in a year or two when we are even closer to being legit.

I think we are ready to compete. We were in the playoff game. Well, the first half. lol. We are not hat far away. Anything can happen in the NFL.

I agree coach. My top four right now are Kelly, Joseph, Jackson Cb, and Doctson. I will post my big board for the #21 pick in a couple of weeks.

To me a playoff team is'A team that makes the playoffs like every year Greenbay, steelers, pats, seahawks of late, ravens, No we are not a playoff team but i think we are close and we could be the best in the nfc east eagles are in a regoup rebuild mode, jason garret cowboys suck period and manning is getting old and mora is in panic mode buying high price free agents wich never works So yes skins could divison rulers but i think No skins are not a playoff team yet need more firepower, better depth, and stay more healty side note i been sober for 3 days

The anything can happen part is we made the playoffs. Next year I see regression. I'm not sure there is any area aside from the front office where I can say I a comfortable. Qb still needs to prove himself, RB situation hugely regressed (Jones is a fumble machine, who runs upright), wr's are pretty good but no one dominant. On defense ... breeland can be solid, culliver may not comeback at full strength, safeties non-existant for nearly a decade, d-line weak, ilb weak, and olb a strength.

So aside from OLB and P, we're looking at a potential strength in qb and wr. Stock up on some studs where we can because we don't have many. I like where we are going but I don't think last year should be seen as a "we are there" situation. We need more pieces. When half your best players are guys you signed mid-season that's not a great sign of talent, great sign of coaching and gm skills.

I think KC is the real deal. When you have a QB this makes a world of difference. He had no running game last year and still succeeded. He lost Jax for half the year and still put up big numbers. He should be able to duplicate what he did this year.

I don't know how anyone can say running back is a huge impression. I forgave us next to nothing and Jones cured his fumble problems halfway through the season and ball placement. As for wide receivers who doesn't consider D-Jax dominant?

If we are not ready to truly compete for a ring, something I agree with, then I would think you would do the opposite and try to fill 2 needs such as center in round 1 and DL in the 2nd in a draft deep at DL. Just focusing on DL to me is for teams that think they are a player away.

I don't know how anyone can say running back is a huge regression. Morris gave us next to nothing and Jones cured his fumble problems halfway through the season with ball placement. As for wide receivers who doesn't consider D-Jax dominant?

i watched the redskins vs eagles' then i watched redskins at dallas last 2 gamess of the year yesterday What i notice is no running game, center reibus looked good, and we need to play more aggersive on both sides , thats what i notice but im sure mcvay and gruden and kirk are growing together and are offense will shift to more of a kirk cousin friendly offense wheather then a Im gruden we will run this scheme no if ands and butts. kind of like when the pats had bledsoe they ran alot but when brady took over it was pass, pass pass i can see this year offense like this

the draft has to be approached by not focusing solely on needs or the BPA either . it has to be a combination and value should enter into it .

that being said i wouldnt pass on a quality d/lineman in the hopes of getting another of lesser quality later . simply take the best one and then get another if value dictates it

so the question becomes is the center a better football player then the available d/lineman or safety or so on

if the answer is yes take the center , if no take another player and if d/lineman is it pull the trigger

i am not anti center at 21 or pro anything at 21 what i am against is getting too cute and trying to out think the room

that leads to mistakes in my opinion

I hear what you are saying and yeah it's a risk to hope a similar DL is there in round 2. I think we agree if the center is the BPA you take him but if not as I said DL, specifically Billings, is my top choice at 21.

Billings is going to be the popular choice b/c we lost Pot Roast and you just cant count on Goldsten. The reason why I side with Kelly as of right now is that I want to protect our franchise QB. Plus Kelly would help in the running game. Billings is only going tobe a two down player for us. So doesn't Kelly have the better value at #21 b/c he will be on the field more?

Im not saying bypass the dline totally, I just think we can wait on getting a 2 down run stuffer. I think you guys are going to be surprised on the dlineman that slip into the 2nd round. The knock on this dline class is that there are better run defenders than pass rushers. So doesn't that mean a draft day slide? The guys who can rush the passer usually get drafted early.

Guys like Ogbadh, Floyd, and the two Clemson guys will get overrated b/c they can rush the passer.
