I'd like to see Ruf in there but he is bad vs RHP - .130, 3/23 vs Brown's .238. If they played him more who knows what the situation might be. Howard is .222. It's tough.

Giving up home runs and runs in general early in the game seems to be what our pitchers have a tendency to get around to doing. Even if you come in from another team, sooner or later hanging around this Boobens-generated environment gets people to eventually exhibit losing behavior. Now Williams is doing it.
