The Phillies will need to score some runs tonight. Buchanan is starting and he has been a liability
as of late. Miller is starting for the Braves and he is pitching lights out. So it looks like a Braves
win on paper. Rumors say that Dom Brown will be called up on Monday. He will most likely be
back in the lineup on Tuesday. Who can get exited about a guy hitting .125 with shoddy fielding?
Even worse, someone will be sent to the minors to make a spot for him. What else can you expect
from the worst run organization in baseball? However I do get some joy out of watching Galvis, Herrera,
and Asche in the early part of their careers. I hope Ryno puts Galvis in the two hole tonight. It makes sense!

Would you believe the 8 hole again. Best hitting ss in the NL. Perhaps we could use some hitting at the back of the lineup. Yeah right in front of the pitcher.

I think they should just release Sizemore. The reason to have a guy like him is to see if he can return to his form before his injuries. The fact that they are playing Jeff Francouer ahead of him against right handed starters tell me they have given up on him. Bring up Brown, let Grady go and put Francouer back on the bench where he belongs.

I'm actually ok with that, if he thinks Revere is starting to heat up. Galvis may be the best hitting ss through 15 games or whatever, but historically Revere is a .300 hitter and Galvis is a .230 hitter. I'm excited about Galvis' hot start but I'm not sold on him being better than Revere

I like both guys and Revere is lagging at the moment. But regardless of where they are in the lineup, the lack of hitting from other lineup positions is what's hurting the Phils most.

I think some of you are missing the point. The Phillies are only scoring 2.7 runs per game. Our hottest hitter should be placed in front of someone who has some power and can drive runs in. Maybe Asche for example. The leadoff hitter needs to have a high on base percentage and speed. Maybe Herrea or even Galvis. Revere should hit 8th until he improves. IMO.
The way Galvis is hitting is not a fluke. Instructors worked with him this spring and decided to lengthen his bat and added 2 ounces of weight. He can reach outside pitches better and now meets the ball which helps him
to hit to all fields. Batting him 8th is moronic and a total waste!

Galvis makes a brilliant stop and throw to first to end the 6th but leaves the field with a possible shoulder stress injury.

The biggest reason for Galvis' improvement I think is that despite hitting .220 for a few years for the Phils whenever he was brought up, they didn't give up on him and gave him a fair amount of playing time. He hung in there and worked hard without losing his confidence.

Buchanan mad as Sandberg yanks him after giving up and leadoff homer to Simmons in the 7th and then 2 walks. 2-1, 2 outs, 2 on as Diekman comes in. Don't fuck it up, Jake.

Just a god damn embarrassment. The more losses. The quicker the big changes

Ruiz called out at 2nd trying to get a double after nice drive into left center. Replay shows he's safe. Called out after review. Damn.

Lol. Don't you even want to see the younger guys like Asche and Herrera win some games like this? I say that's a fuked up attitude.
