I gotta stop kidding. This team feakin' smells as if they're really dead. They're 1-9 and have been outscored 60-30. Not sure I'll want tickets for the Mutts in two weeks. Maybe I'll just check out some houses if ill repute in Philly. Would be funny if I found some Phillies there doing something useful.

Phils now 5 games out at .567. Rest of the month looks dim. Only 4 games with MIA are winnable. This is an unlikely scenario but maybe 6 of the other 13 games are winnable if Harper returns, so it means Phils may be playing .500 ball by July 1.

Good win today as Lazardo recovers from two bad outings. Now, Phils need to take 2 of 3 from TOR to avoid falling into my June doomsday scenario.

It's been a week. I think you are spot on jvett as usual. I also think the Phillies are fundamentally done under present conditions. I think there has to be a fundamental change on a number of levels or a repeat of last year is in order. Dildoes reign!

There's more than half a season to go so we can't give up on them. They will likely bounce back after they get through these never ending rough patches. Drink up!
