That torpedo bat reminds me of a product you would see on those late night infomercials

The “Ron Popiel” torpedo bat
But wait there’s more….
Included with your torpedo bat is the one and only veggie-matic
Too funny, SnowDog.

Frikin Harper is ofer for the day. Bohm, Schwarber, Castellanos, and Realmuto all 1-4. Enough to get the job done I suppose. Kepler is ofer as well, but Sosa was 2 for 3.

Shit, Turner, what a crappy time to strike out. The Phillies are doing it again. Bases loaded and players shit-the-bed.

Overall a good win

Wheeler with another good outing despite giving up that homer

What I liked about the offense is that they scrapped with good base running and putting the ball in play
Keep up the pressure on the pitchers

The bottom of fifth bases loaded shit the bed moment was disappointing

They need to capitalize on those situations when they come up especially with the heart of the order up at the plate

One more game tomorrow against the Rockies and then the big showdown with the Dodgers at Citizens Bank Park on Friday.

I am a little tired of the Phillies filling the bases and then leaving all three runners stranded with trike outs and hitting into double plays. They did it again in this game with one out when the bases were loaded.

They have not remedied this anamoly on the Offense to any significant level for the last 5-6 years or so it seems. They just can't seem to think strategically and get one or more runners home.
