The three runners we left on base is going to be the difference and the Dildoes, who are so accustomed to doing that, made an appearance tonight. You cannot take scoring opportunities lightly. If we lose this series, this will be the seminal moment it went south. These lame-asses are now in real trouble!

This one is on:
- Topper - lethargic team early on, made some questionable decisions
- Kimbrel - dude is cooked. Too many innings on his arm now. Can’t even use him for the back order.
- Offense - these last two games were tailor made for the offense to carry them and they just haven’t shown up.

Maybe this is a blessing in disguise. Topper has his reasons now to justify what he should have done earlier:
1. Schwarber
2. Turner
3. Harper
4. Realmuto
5. Stott
6. Bohm
7. Nick
8. Marsh
9. Rojas

And Kimbrel comes out of the back end. He’s now a 6th or 7th inning guy. Alvarado Hoffman Strahm are 9th, 8th, and 7th for me with predictable roles. He has to play matchups now to complete the “starter has men on spot” instead of Hoffman. He can’t be wasted before the high leverage innings.

The media kept pumping up the bullpen all postseason. I know no one on here was truly comfortable with them all season

It was really the 2nd half for me. They’ve had a ton of usage and I think that’s coming back around now with some of the guys.

The advantage you gain though is that this time last year Wheeler and Nola had dead arms and this year they don’t.

TOPPER HAS TO FLEX THAT!!!!

I need to see a willingness to let these guy throw 100-110 pitches. I like Wheeler and Nola to understand how to make pitches with fatigue better than I do some of these other BP arms.
