For the longest time I thought Manny Mota of the Dodgers had a hyphenated nameI knew Smith-Shawver was a football player. Baseball players never get hyphenated last names.
Man, the Phillies had some great teams in the mid 70's that lost in the NL playoffs to the Dodgers and RedsFor the longest time I thought Manny Mota of the Dodgers had a hyphenated name
After the 1977 NLCS series of Phillies vs Dodgers my dad added a hyphen to Mota’s name
I thought his name was Manny Fucking-Mota
I heard that name enough from my dad
