Well. The Bitches won and the Mutts won. We are still 10 games back with 62 to go. Better to make a play now then wait until the last minute and not make the cut.

So is there any pitching help in these so-called Dombrowski musings or is this just more do-nothing yapping??

Quintana would be a good fit for cheap. But here’s a great idea. MIA and HOU need hitting so Dombrowski could offer future star heavy weights Moniak, Mussiatti, and Maton for a young hot pitcher Lopez or Urquidy. They’d jump at the chance. Phils could toss in flamethrower Nelson and Familia to seal the deal. :D

Go eff yourself Cedrique. Dombrowski is the guy that said he and the Phillies were not going to get involved in any Tier One or Tier Two players this trading period, just a few days ago. Granted, that maybe was a veiled comment to hide his real intentions which are now revealed in this trade.

And of course you have to come along and post your "normal" stupid shit. I didn't see you offering any guesses at who the Phillies may or may not trade for before the event. Typical Cedrique. Offering an attempt from afar and then you show-up to post bullshit!

I am glad we get some serious help in the outfield as a backup. Dombrowski got the Cardinals to take two Douchebag Pitchers that had ERA's of 15.00 and above. LOL!

Is Dombrowski going to get some pitching help so the Phillies can move two more Douchebag pitchers Familia and Nelson that have given away a significant number of games this year?

The trade was actually just Romero for Sosa. The included article also mentions that Notorius may be moved-out of the order. I say package his useless ass along with Familia for decent-to-good pitching help! We need a starter and some better relief.

Schwarber, Hoskins, and Bohm are fairly on-fire right now and make a formidable triplet in the first part of the order.

Suarez is gone and replaced by Alvarado. Let's see if Alvarado can improve and get himself out of the Douchebag Pitchers category.

Two more tries to get a run or more to win this one and go for the sweep!

Castellanos remains ofer. Maybe Dombrowski should send the $100 million man along with notorius and Familia to somebody for a couple of pitchers. Dude is a huge drain on the salary pool and does little in the last month or two.
