Elvis is going to walk him!
Historically during the season, once the LOB goes past 8 or 9, we usually lost!!Heart breaking loss. Phils had so many opportunities. 12 LOB.
AND CASTELLFRAUDOS? EFFIN MONEY-GRUBBING, PILE OF DOGSHIT THAT WHEN HE WAS CALLED TO STEP-UP, HE DIED LIKE THE MOTHEREFFER HE IS!!
Yup came down to the defense but the the bats are ice cold. They messed Themselves up with all those homeruns game 3. We beat the cardinals with a hundred singles. They made two great defensive plays late, and Hoskins booted a grounder
Agreed! It’s like these guys haven’t been following the Phillies this year. Don’t quit on this team until the last out. I have no idea why people are quitting. Dead arm or not, Wheeler can pitch. He knows coming into this that he doesn’t have the same life on his pitches. He needs to dial in on hitting his spots. There’s all winter to lament getting no hit and leaving runners on base. Now is the time to believe. Phil’s in 7. Let’s fucking go!Backs to the wall. Still ain't over yet though
I’ll eat some crow here as well. I was Team Wheeler in Game 5 but the bullpen held up and kept them in the game with a chance to win. They lost the game when they kept letting Verlander off the hook. He was so close to imploding and having the “here we go agains” start creeping in with his World Series history. It was a missed opportunity. If we can get to Game 7, I feel really good about the Phil’s chances.Thomson beat me again. His decision to start Syndergaard was correct. Now, with our desperate situation, at least we have our best starter, Wheeler, on the mound Saturday.
