The Eagles have a brutal schedule this year, and the middle of it had them playing team after team coming off its bye week. If they can eke out a wildcard it would be a minor miracle. They are still in rebuilding mode, especially on offense, and are realistically a season or two away from legitimate playoff contention. Thankfully they traded Bradford and will have a decent first-round pick next year.

That Seattle game got more winnable with their revenge win over the Patriots. They were really up for it. Could have a letdown game. Of course they're really good at home and we're really bad on the road, BUT.

I was thinking about a letdown, but Seattle is a very tough place to win a game these days. That defense is coming to together and the team as a whole appears to turn the page.

The Browns will win a game at some point this season. What better time than the Giants game.

I was split on the Eagles and Skins games. I always like seeing both teams lose (sorry) but it was better for Dallas if ATL and Minny lose since we could be up against them for playoffs or hopefully getting a bye. PHL and WAS we still get to play, same with Minny but ATL needed to lose to give us room for any late season let downs.

Eagle defense is getting pretty legit, that front 7 can pressure the QB better than most. I could see the SEA offense struggling a lot as long as your DC doesn't get awestruck and conservative. The issue will be your offense is gonna have to put up 30 on their defense.

I thought about that too, but the sooner we can wrap up the NFCE the sooner we can get some rest for our guys. That's more important than the div vs div thing.

I could not disagree with you guys more. Things change quickly in sports. Win the division first and foremost and then worry about the other stuff. Plus, I don't really think Minn or Atl are for sure better than NYG, Wash and Phil. As far as seeding, there is one team out there we really don't want to play on the road and that's Seattle.

I wasn't thinking about seeding, I was thinking about playoffs at all. It's easier to get a WC if Minny and ATL have another loss in their ledger. NYG hold the tie breaker over us at this point. All it would take is a NYG win over us in the next meeting and Dallas to have another loss and we would then be fighting for a WC spot.

K opening this thread I thought, "WHAT?!" then I went to ESPN and sure enough Eagles are 4th. Dang...

What a weird season. I expected the Eagles AND Cowboys to be the bottom feeders. I gave the division to the Skins and Giants at 8-8 (which might still happen). I expected Dallas to go 4-12 or something. So far WAY off on that. Not too far off on the Eagles being the bottom feeders, but hardly expected that many wins out of them this early either.
