He most likely buried his head in his ass, since I already posted the rule per the NFL and attached a video showing Matthew's at the LOS when the pass was thrown.
He's all out of excuses.
Damn you guys are fast LOL

Wait... I said you were right but I just read this...

In gridiron football, an ineligible receiver downfield, or an ineligible man downfield, is a penalty called against the offensive team when a forward pass is thrown while a player who is ineligible to receive a pass is beyond the line of scrimmage without blocking an opponent at the time of the pass.

With one exception, on any given pass play only eligible receivers can cross the line of scrimmage before either A) a pass crosses the line, or B) a defender touches the ball. The exception is on a forward pass that doesn't cross the line of scrimmage (like a screen or shovel pass). On such a play, the linemen can cross the line and be on their merry ways.

Jones caught the ball BEHIND THE LOS.

You lose... again
PE1 smoked again

Wait... I still think I’m right. That pass was beyond the line of scrimmage so it wasn’t a screen

He's all out of excuses.

So he ran approximate 20 yards. 3 yards up field in 17 yards across the field in the time it took to throw the pass. Nope. Wheres this video?

here is the NFL copy & pace

NFL - Article 8, Section 3
This covers ineligible player downfield.

Article 1: Legal and Illegal Acts.

On a scrimmage play during which a legal forward pass is thrown, an ineligible offensive player, including a T-formation quarterback, is not permitted to move more than one yard beyond the line of scrimmage before the pass has been thrown.

So it doesnt have to be when it is caught but when it is thrown.
Face it. That lineman did an awesome job!

So now just say ok. Movin' on to your next thing!

Oh yeah. How does those crickets taste?

1. It was a screen pass.
2. THe lineman ran about 20 yards in less time then it took to throw the ball? Nope

he doesnt have to stay in a tackle box. He just has to be within one yard of line of scrimmage. Line of scrimmage doesnt change. It goes all the across the field.
