Apparently Vecchione is graduating with a degree in History. Good. Hopefully he'll recognize the significance of the past 42 years of Flyers' hockey.
Because he is 24, Vecchione can only sign for one year. He will, however, be a restricted free agent after the season, allowing the Flyers to re-sign him.Apparently it's a one-year deal, and if Vecchione plays this season he would become an unrestricted free agent this summer. Puzzling.
Yeah, thanks. The article that said Unrestricted has since printed this retraction:Because he is 24, Vecchione can only sign for one year. He will, however, be a restricted free agent after the season, allowing the Flyers to re-sign him.
We need this kid i hope he turns into a solid pro center.Yeah, thanks. The article that said Unrestricted has since printed this retraction:
"This story has been corrected to show that Vecchione would because a restricted, not unrestricted, free agent this summer if he plays this season."
We need all the help we can get from the bottom 6 after those players haven't produced all season offensively.Probably not a world beater, but certainly should be a quality bottom 6 guy according to most of what i've read about him.
You just cant give away a 4-2 lead in game 2. That is not a good look.ya.. phantoms in a tough spot here now.. down 0-2 in a best of 5 series.. both their goalies, the backbone of the team the entire season, are out with significant leg injuries.
twitter seems to think they'll go with Oullette over Hart, but wouldn't that be a story..
still wondering if Myers will get any time. from all accounts, they've played really well in both games, well enough to win, just getting unlucky.
need the bounces to go in their favor on Saturday (and hopefully Sunday).
1 down 2 to go! Lets go Phantoms!!phantoms pull it out last night. scored on a shot from center ice to tie it in the 3rd, then won in OT. game 4 is saturday!
