Well.. The Titans got manhandled by the Road Warriors pretty good losing 3-0 Saturday night. Right from the opening puck drop they got outworked in every facet. Titan goalie Scott Wedgewood was the Titans lone star. His positioning & quickness ( glove, side to side ) were very impressive. The first 2 he got beat on were ricochets that had no business going in and the 3rd was an empty netter. I knew going in that they didnt possess a shit load of great up and coming talent, but even Blake Kessel played like his eyes were sewn on the back of his head.

Of course it wasn't top notch hockey being played but it was hockey and being there with the wife and 2 of our boys, on the glass, acting like fools, was a shit load of fun anyways.

phantoms are on a bit of a tear here.. they've won 3 straight and are 6-1 in their last 7 i think.. only allowing more than 2 goals twice in that span (mostly munroe)

schenn, i believe, is 3rd in the AHL scoring race.. couturier seems to be heating up a bit too

ghost had a goal and an assist over the weekend for union's back to back wins over penn state

stolarz pitched his first collegiate shutout on saturday

laughton is back playing after his 10 game suspension and had 2 assists and a goal over the weekend

cousins had just an assist i believe

just typing off memory for those, and those are the prospects really worth watching for the flyers i think

I know that defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere (3rd rounder this year) made USA's preliminary squad.

Fingers crossed he makes it, and fingers crossed even more that he plays with Jones

Man, I am getting hyped as fuck for the WJC. I am totally ready to ruin my holidays in order to wake up for these games.

i'm strongly considering it as well.. i wont have proper control of a TV/DVR set up to handle it in any other timely fashion..

however, i may just operate a week or two behind live and just have all the games recorded on my DVR at home
