Phantoms fall to the Whale today 3-1. The whale scored 2 in the final minute to get the win. Schenn with the phantoms goal (nice top shelf shot from the slot on the pp)

sent down to trenton (aka didn't make the phantoms)

biggest surprise to me is akeson going down.. he was on the top line in the preseason.. which i'm thinking will now be schenn.couturier.ford

heeter > hovinen in the preseason so he gets the nod in goal

kinda weird that noebels is gunna play in the ECHL rather than going back to juniors

i was kinda surprised he got sent down.. i remember reading somewhere that someone expected him to kinda be a break out guy this year

Not Phantoms, but Cousins is 2nd in OHL scoring right now. 12 points in 7 games. Looking at the list, he has 3 more points than Galchenyuk in 1 more game

phantoms went 1-1 over the weekend

schenn had 2 goals and an assist on satrday, couturier tacked on a goal and an assist.. they won 6-3.. also, from the sounds of it schenn's shorty on saturday was amazing.. i was listening to the game a little yesterday and they were still raving about it (schenn/couturier is the top PK unit for the phantoms, and schenn.couturier.ford has been the top line.. but it looks like they might move rinaldo up to the top line.. they did that for a little yesterday).. munroe was in net

got shutout 4-0 yesterday.. heeter apparently struggled a little in his first AHL start

also, nick cousins is 2nd in the OHL in scoring with 16 pts in 9 games.. boone jenner (laughton's linemate) leads the league with 17

its actually kinda interesting following players like this.. i wonder how weird it is when prospects of a team play each other in juniors.. laughton and cousins are both known as being agitators, normally i bet tehy'd be at each others' throats when they played.. i wonder what they're like now since they're both flyers guys
