Detroit is the 23rd ranked pass defense in the league.

And somehow Brady STILL managed to toss it to them right on the numbers. :L

You mean on the play where PI/Holding should have been called?

That gets called properly and that INT doesn't happen

Broncos haven't played consistently well all year. It's hard to say exactly why. For example, exactly why has NE played so well since the beatdown they took at KC several weeks ago? Gronk getting healthy is a big reason, but I don't think it's the only reason.

Glad the Denver run game got going today. Need to continue to build on that. Also need to figure out how better to defend mobile QBs. They've shown the ability to do it effectively for parts of games, but not entire games.

The Patriots getting their Oline in order helped A LOT. With the same players who looked like crap previously. Thats good coaching.

I think the Patriot loss likely threw Denver for a loop and the injuries didn't help either.

They'll be be ok. Unless they lose at KC of course

Totally agree. It's as simple as that. The Pats have probably the most dominant OL of our generation and the Broncos have been decimated by injuries. Peyton is doing amazing things playing behind 2 rookies and 2 bums.

Manning shines with a 135.4 rating while leading his team to victory with 4 TDs against one of the best defenses in the league.

Meanwhile, Brady looks pedestrian against one of the worst defenses in the league.

?? Detroit?

The rambling babblings of a desperate and deluded man.

LOL Come on. Get some oxygen or something. They're playing well now but I don't think they are the Oline in the NFL by far this year.

I have to admit, thought Manning would have difficult game with Dolphins, kudos to Manning on good game.

To me, it's clear that Gronk returning to form makes them a different team.

Detroit had the number 1 defense.

But then again I wouldn't put this past you. Troll away.

I don't think OP has a very high football IQ, but I'll give him one thing: he raises a fair question. But a closer look at the Broncos reveals a team that, even at 8-3 has been somewhat a disappointment this season. This defense has not even come close to being as good as advertised. They've made a couple plays here and there, but for the most part they are a slightly better unit than last year's. The thing is, last year's defense was a patchwork unit that overachieved. This unit has underachieved big time.

I think there was a difference in Defense that they were playing against.

And I am 100% sure you would make the same argument, along with tossing in some other foolish nonsense.

Oh sorry yeah the Broncos were playing the 2nd ranked pass defense instead of the 5th ranked pass defense. I guess if you go by total defense Detroit is first but look who is just right behind them in Miami. So defensive quality is just as stupid as you saying Brady had a better day today of the two. Just stop...you're digging yourself that much deeper

Broncos just hit a rough patch... it happens. They will still be a very tough draw for whoever gets them in the playoffs. In or out of Denver.

Manning Boo'd at Home

Manning over the last 4 weeks is second to Cam Newton in interceptions.
The Denver fans were so disgusted they boo'd the GOAT and future hall of famer - in a win!
Bronco fans really are high-maintenance.....

OP might have a point. Broncos looked pretty good heading into that game & now they're falling apart. Maybe they just got exposed or maybe it's just bad timing. Still tho, makes you go :susp:
