Personally I'm fine with Tuesdays loss. I think it was one of the best games the team played. Cory let n two softies, sure, but minus that it was good. Bob won the Vezina for a reason. Only change I'd make is Harrold out but there isn't a better replacement for him right now unless Gelinas impresses.

The thing that would have bugged me about that game were I a Devs fan is the way they were so tentative, and then didn't turn on the jets when the Jackets finally got traction. Schneider misplayed Cam's backhand and the Devs never tightened up or responded physically. They just kept clogging lanes and the Jackets went right at 'em. They never ratcheted up the physicality. And the Jackets are a big team. They are not going to go around you, they are going to go through you. You need to put bodies on them.

I mean Volchenkov is almost always involved in the biggest hit of the game. But he's usually not the one on his ass afterwards. Boll destroyed him. I can't remember the last time I saw that.

It's one thing to lose 3 important games in a row....it's quite another for your team to come out flat for them.

Honestly, I do not think the devils are a talented team. Losing Kovy, Parise, Clarkson wasn't going to go over well. I they've they've outplayed any expectations this season.

I don't see how you blame the coach.

Lavy got axed because he did have the talent and he couldn't pull them together this year.

You don't see because you don't follow the team. They have come out totally flat the last few games...not ready to play. And do you really think the flyers are as talented as their post Lavy record shows. Berube has got his guys to play, DeBoers guys aren't playing for him anymore
