This next off-season will be HUGE for all teams trying to compete in the next 4 years. If Beek keeps the salary restrictions up we could end up behind the curve.

There will be so many good players looking for jobs with no money to go around. Teams with money to spend will be able to load up on bargain contracts since the competition wont be there.

Im horrible with cap numbers and space and all that jazz but word is Pens wont be able to sign a good portion of their guys for next season..kinda like the B'Hawks after 2010 Im guessing.

But hey as long as ya have Crosby and Malkin locked up who gives a shit. Crosby can take another 2 nobodies like Kunitz and Dupuis and turn em into studs.

Malkin and Letang are also UFA after next season. They we be in a big salary crunch after this year and next.
