I would also like to say that I think Letang is back to playing like a Norris candidate. He's been all over the ice, and fantastic defensively lately.

They were talking about how Clouston met Kiss's guitarist at some point, and then Errey made some reference to Steiggy going to a concert, and he said it was Buble -- a little different than Kiss -- and Errey asked if he got a kiss there, and Steiggy said it was a very romantic atmosphere and a lot of people were kissing, but he was there alone, so he didn't get one.

What an awesome game to go to. The seats meant we could see some stuff really well (Letestu's post and Z's goal in particular) but unfortunately we didn't get good looks at the 3 goal 2nd period.

From down low you notice different things than you do on TV, and the biggest thing that stood out to me was our forechecking. It's relentless. We keep the shifts short and just keep coming at them. It led to a lot of turnovers and some good chances, but more importantly it keeps the puck in their end and tires them out.

When our roles players score, this team looks awesome. Will look even better when (crossing fingers) Crosby comes back. When the role players don't score, it's a different story.

BJ also had some awesome saves. His pads are tiny!

Great game...missed part of the third period because I had a hankering for a Shamrock shake, so I didn't see Z's goal, but fun game from this side of the fence. Putting up big numbers against the teams we're SUPPOSED to beat (something which Pens of the past seem to have issue with). The rest of our season isn't extremely hard, so if they can stick it out just a bit longer with these troops and work on getting healthy, we look good.

Sidenote: our young Dmen looked great. Potter nearly scored early on and was very calm and confident with the puck. Lovejoy seems to have some of his confidence back, and when Brooks is healthy and Nisky isn't sick we have a very formidable top 7 again.
