Doob's take: there's the game (Pens vs Isles) & the game within the game (Sid vs Tavares). Pens are presently on top of the division but the Islanders are on a roll. More importantly, Sid leads the league in scoring but he will face his closest competition in the scoring race and his rival for many years to come. I expect a big game from both players (at least 3 points each). Doob picks the Pens to win 5-4 in OT.

LOL not to make this a worst goalie conversation but go check the GAA for the 12 games Jarmo Myllys played for the North Stars over 3 seasons.

Don't ask why I remember that name except I saw him play once and thought it was the funniest thing ever.

Back on topic I hope we have yet another good game and hopefully the Pens can hold a lead against the Isles this time.

Poulin is in goal for the Isles. The Isles have two guys in the top 10 in scoring & are still in the basement. Hopefully Okposo remembers being snubbed for the Olympic team every single shift. This is a must win because every game from here on out is a must win. Scoring hasn't been a problem. The defense has been helped by the emergence of Rookie Calvin De Haan. Visnovsky & Hamonic are both out with concussion issues.

I don't care how they do it. They just need 2 points. Good luck Pens fans, not that your team really needs it on almost every night. Hopefully tonight won't go your way.
