Letestu sounds like a dessert.
Gonch's greatest value on the PP at this stage in his career was his blistering shot from the blueline. Gogo at least has some semblence of that skill, as displayed just now.
I'm probably in the minority, but I believe the loss of Gonchar is going to hurt more than people think. Most that I've spoken to feel that Letang, Goligoski or Martin will fill the void without missing a beat. I think they're all adequate point men...Gonchar was better than adequate.
If I changed "Gonch's greatest value" to "One of Gonch's values", would that make my post more aggreeable to you? I inadvertently detracted from my point of comparing their shotmaking abilities from long distances.I don't agree with that statement... I don't think I ever saw Gonch with his eyes anywhere but up when skating up the ice.. he may have been slow coming up, but he knew what he wanted to do and did it... Gogo seems indecisive... still young, still learning... but you have to get the puck in the zone and allow your teammates to set up befoire he can use his shot... he should be on the PP, but not leading the rush up. Letang had that job until the past two games when he decided to continuously pass the puck to the other team. Between Gogo, Martin, and Letang, one of them will step, too much talent for all of them to be horrible PP Qbs... but right now.. not too good.
Lou says that the Devs are going with 15 skaters today
wow, that's fucked up for three games into the season.
at least Calgary had a valid reason a couple of years ago.
why is MAF on the bench? it doesn't seem to be a particularly compressed time in the schedule.
Not sure but he let in a really weak winning goal late against Montreal.

i think I heard staggy or errery say that coach wanted to get fleury into 7 of the first 10... I assume that means johnson gets 3 of the first 10.
