Yeah I just read about his ND visit over the weekend, sounds like he had a good time. I'm not giving up on him yet, but I think Franklin would be wise to try and get him on campus soon if he doesn't already have a visit scheduled. Speaking of VA kids, I'd really like Tim Settle, Franklin needs to get him on campus ASAP.

Settle's supposedly got a visit set up already per his coach. Reid, I think we are definitely in it and may even lead, but its not as commanding as I see with the other big fish from PA

I was thinking about his earlier today and I guess I'll put this question to anyone on here.

Assuming we sign a full class of 25, what 14 recruits (that we actually have a realistic chance of getting) would you like to fill out our class. Personally I think my list would be

1. Sterling Jenkins
2. Jordan Whitehead
3. Jerome Baker
4. John Reid
5. Adam McLean
6. Brandon Wimbush
7. Tim Settle
8. Christian Wilkins
9. Josh Adams
10. Irwin Charles
11. Manny Bowen
12. Grant Newsome
13. Darius Fullwood
14. Jashon Cornell (probably somewhat of a pipe dream but whatever)

I'll go by postion because I have no real particular order:

QB - Brandon Wimbush
RB - We are done here
WR - Irvin Charles or Alex Ofodile (long shot)
TE - Don't see it unless some high end TE wants in and we take one less safety/ATH
OL - Sterling Jenkins, Grant Newsome, Austin Clark or Matthew Burrell
DT - Adam McLean, Tim Settle (more likely we get Wilkins or someone else though)
LB - Bowens, Baker
DE - Darius Fullwood or Shareef Miller
S - Josh Adams (could grow into LB), Ayron Monroe
CB - Jordan Whitehead, John Reid/Minkah Fitzpatrick (long shot) or Ashton White

What are you guys talking about Long Shots? With Franklin no one can be considered a long shot.

Franklin is great, but there are other program's that have great recruiters as well, we've gotten basically everyone we've wanted so far but we're bound to lose a few.

Some kids just don't want to go to PSU, or Bama or OSU or wherever, it just is what it is. I think Minkah Fitzpatrick is starting to listen a little, but he has had his eyes on the SEC for a long time. It would take one hell of a job just to get a visit. From that point, anything is possible andOfidile is a Mizzou legacy

Looks like our thinking is pretty similar. I don't really have a preference between any of the guys on my list, just numbered them to keep track of how many I had lol

yeah, you had an extra DT, I had an extra OT, which is where I think we go with that ship. DT depth isn't bad, OL we need to reload more across the board.

Wouldn't be disappointed if we got any of those OTs you mentioned, just not sure if we could actually get them all. I would also absolutely love to land Fitzpatrick, he's big time. Bud like you said, looks like he might be SEC bound though I think our chances get better if we land Wimbush.

We lead for Jenkins and Newsome and Clark is a real possibility. The other kid visits this weekend

Didn't know Burrell was visiting this weekend. He'd be a nice addition.
Another thing about Fitzpatrick, we've really been sticking up on NJ guys this year and I'm sure they're all in his ear, I think there's reason for a little bit of hope.

Yeah, they are as well as our Jersey guys from last class.

Burrell seems very pumped about his visit from his tweets

Based on what Franklin has been doing on visits, I'd be surprised if he doesn't take a longer look at PSU.

Him and McLean would be an absolute dream scenario at DT for us. Jenkins, Newsome and Burell/Meggason/Clark up front and both trenches are getting restocked in grand fashion

Landing those two at DT would be fantastic. We'd be set there for a few years to come.

Saw that rivals tweeted a link to a story, about our 2015 LB situation, I don't pay for Rivals so I can't read but if anyone does and would like to share. Feel free

I avoid Rivals usually. 24/7 had a story as well. Sounds like Wooten is making an impression and will add some needed depth and Hull is embracing the leadership role in the middle. Still thin, but we have some talented freshmen, mainly farmer, who can play the hybrid "star" position as well

Wooten is a monster. I would specifically watch him on special teams... He destroyed people. Didn't make many tackles but after 1 kick, players on the opposing return team wouldn't engage as eagerly... Not surprised to hear he's moving up the ranks.
