I mean, I'm just looking forward to the deadline day extravaganza. I know we had him, but that was awhile back now, and the team has developed. And with the Isles clearly shopping some players, I was curious as to his price tag because the Pens may be buying, but only at a discounted price.

Moulson will be an UFA at the end of the year. He's making a bit over 2 million this year. Matt has stated that he wants to stay & is willing to take a bit less to do so. However, it's also been said by the Katie Strang who covers the Isles for Newsday that he could be dealt.

If Garth gets less than a 1st round pick or top prospect Isles fans including myself will be very PISSED OFF. He's already taking some heat from the fans & media for the Roloson trade. We haven't seen Wishart play yet but he better be good.

Moulson would only cost a team around 1 million right now. Come deadline time it's going to be even less.

Moulson would only cost a team around 1 million right now. Come deadline time it's going to be even less.

I think that was my post...I went on CapGeek and I thought that I calculated that we'd have around that amount available come deadline day...but I'm pretty sure that I did something wrong. Because we have VERY little room in general. And that was before Staal was in the lineup. Not 100% sure how that changes things. I'm gonna try again...gotta see if I can find it.
