Doob's take
Glad to see Kris Letang back in the lineup and looking forward to seeing what Jayson Megna can do in the NHL, but I really don't like seeing Zatkoff in net against a team like the Islanders. We saw Zatkoff get lit up against the Panthers, Islanders have a way better offense, I think we'll have to score at least 5 goals to win this one. Doob picks the Islanders to win 5-4. Hope the Pens prove me wrong tho.

The Doobster was right, Pens got caught late, and the Isles prevail. Tough loss, especially for Zatkoff. He made an amazing saving late in the third only to have it go to waste because no one in black was there to clear the rebound. He deserved better, and now his confidence is probably bottomed out.
Wonder if they even give him another start?

I wouldn't give up on Zatkoff, pretty obvious the team doesn't even try when he's in net. Basically setting him up to fail. Until we get TV back, I don't see any goalie in our system doing any better.
