Agreed, it was such a weird play, was wondering if he had a stinger, which is usually a football injury.

He got cross checked down in front of the net and someone shot the puck to the back of his neck.

He got crosschecked in the upper back, then after he fell to the ground he got hit with a shot in the upper back/neck area. Link has a video.

Islanders beat the Sharks in a shootout to stay undefeated. Will be really tough to beat them without Dup. I could see Tavares Okposo Nelson & Boychuk all going off on us

That is extremely unfortunate. Wow. Letang was winding up just before he got cross-checked. The timing was so precisely wrong for Dupuis.

Could, they are playing over their heads now, but they are a playoffs team most likely.

They have a lot of talented forwards & seem to have solidified their blue line with the acquisitions of Boychuk & Leddy. IDK if they're playing over their heads or not but they're a very hot team right now.
