Runaway fight of the year to me. I don't think the Salido fight was half as good.

Hate Porter's style, but love the absolute commitment and reckless abandon with which he goes about it. And you have to love his positive attitude and constant genuine smile. I'm honestly not sure if my dislike of his style, or my love of him as a person colored my scoring, but I had it 8 rounds to 4 in favor of Thurman. So not quite as close. Although there were probably 8 rounds that were almost coinflips.

Can't wait for a rematch.

Oh, and I'm sure some people loved it being on free TV, but that format sucks for boxing. Cut straight to commercial and miss almost the entire corner time.

Yeah i really hate fights on NBC and CBS for that reason. Really prefer fights on HBO or Showtime to be honest

Wow, what a fight. I think the last 12 boxing matches I have watched have been terrible...this one is the best I've seen in years.

Amazing fight. No BS from the Judges. Both guys classy after the fight. One of the few battles you feel like both guys were winners.
