Patriots fans already calling for Jimmy Garoppolo to start over Tom Brady
Brady got outplayed by Alex Smith in Thursday night’s season opener, which is something no one expected. His stats from the game were subpar by his standards, as he completed only 16 of 36 passes, and didn’t throw a single touchdown pass. "Too old to cut the mustard anymore"...:tsk:

Which pats fans would that be?

I think we'll give Tom a game or two more and if he still plays like shit then hell yes, we'll call for Garappolo.

Someday you Brady sufferers will be relieved of him.

The only panic I have is over the major injuries already racking up.

You need to ask that question to the writer of the article and read the fans responses in it....
Some recognize that he is declining while some insist on holding their hands over their eyes and pretending he's a s good as he used to be....No One beats Father Time and Mother Nature in the NFL....:nono:

He might be declining, he might have had a bad game like he did in his prime.

...time will tell.

Eventually you're going to be correct so keep it up.

I can count to maybe 3 teams who could make a serious copy of the Chiefs gameplan from Thursday. With Berry out that's probably not the greatest plan assuming Gronk is out there. Pats are still going to win 12+ games

You are quite correct OS. It will happen to everyone - eventually.

The Patriots will certainly face the same plan again until they solve it..

Makes thread about Pats fans panicking

*No Pats fans panic*
Hey Moose I wasn't here yesterday because I only post when I'm at work usually. Nice fucking win on Thursday. I was impressed. I came into the season thinking the Chiefs were gonna have a tough season because of their schedule. They shut me up for the time

Maybe so, but it's kind of going to be a knockoff and Brady/Gronk is just too good to not punish the slightest weakness on the offensive side of things.

Brady's timing was terrible Thursday. I feel pretty confident that will improve but clogging the middle seems like a good plan in general against the Pats until he does.

it sure looks like the D is going to need help this year.

I kinda see the D as the same too. A lot of new guys got a lot of playing time Thursday. Gilmore obviously, Guy/Marsh/Butler/Wise all played good chunks of the game.

They aren't going to be a very good unit, but they need to go back to the "bend, don't break" mentality. They are going to give up a lot of yards, but the big plays killed them. Even last year they were 10th worst in the NFL in yards allowed per play. 2014 they were 11th worst. I think this unit is good enough to be in that range again.
