The #Patriots are getting close on a deal for #Browns WR Josh Gordon, source said. Not official yet but headed that way.

I doubt he does though. Pats have a clause he has to play 10 games or they get a 7th back from CLE. Almost guaranteed he does not so they get the 7th.

Not sure about that. This team as it is right now lacks any real WR threat him just being on the field will open things up. 7th be dammed I don't think the 7th is an issue.

Only team that is decent is the Chiefs. They wont need him for those other games. Why not sit him and get the 7th. Assuming that is doable. Not 100% sure of the contract details.

Because they need those games to get him in sync. Again the 7th is no a big deal.
