Hmm. Finding ways to lose games every week. After that first three-and-out I thought they had a shot. Nope.

This team is a mess all the way through. Our once acclaimed defense can't stop anybody, offense is a joke outside of Sanders, and our ST is the worst in the league.

We've fallen completely off the map since the bye week. It's unlike anything I've ever seen, but is eerily similar to when McDunkle lost control of the team after half a season and was gone 9 games later. It all starts at the top, and these guys just don't look like they give a crap out there. Time to tank and aim for a top 5 pick.

I will continue to be shocked every day Brock Olivo has a job in Denver.

As for our defense, when youre always responding to sudden changes, or short fields, its hard to play your best. And weve gotten away from our strength, man coverage. Hell, i turned the game off when they dropped Von in coverage. Stupid.

This reminds me of Embree tenure at CU. Too sloppy across the board. I think Elway has lots to consider this offseason.

He really left on his own. Sometimes the decision isn't always ours.

Should've kept Wade

Yes while Phillips was about money people forget Denver had the #2 ranked Defense before last week(hell they're still Top 5 even after tonight) so it's not like the guy we do have is running this defense into the ground.

I saw a stat that 80% of New England's plays yesterday were in Denver territory, a Defense can't stop that.

Just looking over season stats and stuff, and I am just dumbfounded by how we fell completely apart after week 5.

Siemian was looking all-pro, offense was clicking in both in the run and pass game, defense was #2 in the league, we looked mean and fast out there, snagged some turnovers, dudes were getting sacks and we looked like a top tier team.

I'm sorry, but WTF exactly happened during that bye week? Lamenting over past shitty seasons, I can't think of one that can par the suckfest that has been the last month and what the 17'-18' season has turned into.

I would love to hear if anything like that has EVER happened before. You're talking about running 60-70 plays and only a half a dozen or so are in your own territory. Has to be one of the more ridiculous stats I've ever heard, but quite honestly I'm not floored that we were the ones to give it up this year.

They certainly aren't playing for each other or for the coaches - that's what turns me off the most. Very rare in Denver Bronco teams of the past. Too many cooks spoils the broth?

This whole coaching staff has been put on notice
Elway called us soft
Definitely not losing games "kicking and screaming"

IDK, I look at the other first time HCs and all have their teams competing . Even SF is not getting blown out having lost 5 games by 2-3 points. Denver has been shutout, lost at home by double digits to a one win team that was missing 8 starters , given up 50 and 40 on consecutive weeks.

Again, this really has to come back on Elway and the talent he has failed to assemble via the draft.

I feel like fans of any teams are quick to point the finger at one phase, either players, GM, owner, coach, whatever the case may be. At some point people have to realize everyone has part to blame. It's not just one thing.

Coaches need to coach, and utilize strengths and attack other teams weaknesses. GM''s need to find players that fit the scheme they have in place to be a successful team, and players as grown men need to do their job, worry about their job and play with the fire and emotion. They are getting paid millions to give 100%. You shouldn't need to be reminded or have to prove youself to a player to give 100% every week. If you don't want to play for your coach, play for your teammates or the name on the back of the jersey, fans, whatever the case may be. You find some reason to play hard other then the fact that you're getting paid a lot of money to play hard.

We might be seeing the gaping whole left by no Manning and no Demarcus Ware. Player leadership is also not evident.
