Having Brady go to the Browns will be delicious to follow. It will be like going from meticulous planning to dart board planning - not to mention move over Baker Mayfield. Equally as funny will be the Raiders - who couldn't live with the Southern California distractions, but can somehow live with the Las Vegas distractions?

Well, My guess no film did them in.

I really wonder if they won one SB without cheating? Filming the Bengals? They just could not help themselves .they have been cheating all along. I actually like a lout on NE fans they are for the most part pretty classy.

They should lose all of their drafts picks this year.

Sorry. You really need to watch something other than the SportsHoopla screen.

It came out from the NFL Saturday that the investigation found absolutely no connection between the Kraft Production Company and the team. They were given access to three years of emails and telephone call records and there was nothing. They interviewed the production staff and checked phones and computers.

Now it's up to Goodell to what he wants to do. Most likely it will be a fine because he can't penalize the team because there was no connection or contact.

It's time for some other teams to get a little time in the spotlight. Hopefully, that will be the Broncos again in the coming years!

You want the Broncos other want the ravens and Texans. Have you ever asked yourself WHY wasn't the Broncos management able to keep a really good team solidly in the playoff hunt for more than three or four years? Why didn't the team go back to another Super Bowl after they won SB L?

Why didn't the Broncos draft Tom Braddy in the 1999 draft in the fifth round? Why has the team had 5 or 6 coaches during the same tenure s Belichick?

Why does any other team "deserve" to be in the playoffs if they can't maintain a system of excellence.

Everybody hates the Patriots because they've been successful and their teams haven't.

Here's my favorite question......What if Belichick drafts a QB that everyone ignores and in 2042 he's thinking about retiring after breaking every Brady record and he's wearing 7 SB rings? Will you go to your grave giving the Patriots the one-finger salute or will you give them a military salute. Will you give Elway the one-finger salute for not drafting that quarterback?

I did not know this .. It's not so much SportsHoopla. I have stopped watching NFL Games other than Denver and following them pretty much exclusively. so thanks to you all the same. not as big a deal as I thought.

All Runs Come to an end. This run of NE may have come to an end.

It took forever and a day for us to find a decent QB to maybe go on a Run. We will see .

You talk fat We had a QB the same time Brady was starting out his Shoulder got hamburgered . That set us on a nightmare path to a point of Flacco ...lol

So I get your QB got his rings but understand He also could of become Brian Griese and this year your team was scraping up a used QB.

BB could been fired years ago. had Bradies arm got hurt his rooky year .

How true, How true.

The weird thing is.....Brady got taken out in the first game of the year and the Patriots had to bring in Matt Cassell. Cassell led the team to an 11-5 record and the Patriots didn't make the playoffs because of the tiebreaker. The following year, Brady came back and the only time he missed was because he took the hit for underinflated balls that were never underinflated. Except for the one that the Colts equipment guy had in his possession for more than three hours.

Every game is a possible end of a career.

The Patriots are the only team in the NFL in my memory that retirements, player departures, and coach departures just doesn't seem to affect. I think that is a credit to the the system and the coaches they have. I think the Patriots have had a system of getting coaches that excel at teaching players to do their roll to the best of their ability.

You point out the short comings of the Broncos, but the Patriots have not been hurt by the fact that their division has been a mess for a long time. We will see if the Bills have gotten their act together.

I will admit I am tired of the Patriots winning all the time and I am ready for other teams in the NFL to step up and have their chance. I am sure there have been times the Broncos have been hated because they won so much. There are other teams in the same position. Teams that come to my mind are Dallas, San Francisco, Pittsburgh, and Indianapolis. At the same time you have to tip your cap and acknowledge that the Patriots just beat everyone for long time. This level of dominance may not be seen in the next 100 years.

Some will say the Patriots have cheated to have their success, and while evidence does indicate that they have push some boundaries from time to time, they still went out and won. When McDaniels was in Denver we were caught videoing the 49ers practice in London, but the result of the game was 49ers win.

We all spend a lot of time asking those questions. So do the fans of 31 other teams. The Broncos are still a better organization with a better record than most. The Patriots are the anomaly here. I already gave the Patriots their props in my previous statement. I give all other 31 teams the middle finger because they're not the Broncos. That's what fans do. I respect what TB12 and BB have done in New England but like most football fans, would like to see some other teams get further in the fray. I'm not concerned about the Broncos history. They have a fine history with 8 trips to the Super Bowl and 3 wins. Just celebrating the eventual decline of the Patriots because that opens doors for other competitors. Don't forget that prior to the 2000 season, the Patriots had 40 years of futility like most everyone else. Go Broncos!

Tell that to the Chiefs and Raiders.....
Raiders had one of the worst point differentials in the league despite Carr actually playing pretty well. Carr regresses or they bring in a new QB and the gap between the Raiders and the rest of the division is going to be very obvious.

They have a long ways to go on both sides of the ball.

"I" think the move to Vegas is going to make a HUGE change in the Raiders and their management. The guys in Vegas who put up the near $3B for the stadium ain't going to stand by and let their money stagnate.

I don’t think they care if the Raiders are winning. They will care that people are coming to town, and that they get a Super Bowl.

exactly. Money is more important than winning if you’re investing. Some teams winning is part of the money making formula, but for nomads like the Raiders it likely will be secondary. Icing on the cake.

Winning = Money

Winning = Playoffs and more money

Please stop letting your dislike for a competitor further discolor your homer glasses.

The perfect example is the hated Patriots. Kraft paid $172M in 1994 for the team and stadium.
In 1998 he started construction on a self-financed stadium that cost $625M.
The Patriots are now worth $3.9B.

If the Raiders don't win, the investors will never get their money back. Steve Wynn does not lose money or lose at anything else. The Raider ownership and management will be managing cactus root growth.

oh shut the hell up with that “homer colored glasses” bullshit. I know you’re a senile old man but that’s pretty stupid even coming from you!

not all NFL teams’ owners buy into the “winning = money” model for business. We’re both fortunate in that Kraft and the late Pat Bowlen both believed that model but how many teams have we seen deviate?

Even the Chiefs needed a fan mutiny before Hunt actually got serious about winning. For years he tolerated mediocrity seemingly daring fans to lose interest in the team. They did and he corrected course but not before a few 2-14 seasons.

The Raiders will open up shop in one of the most transient cities in America. They’ll probably never have an issue filling the stadium because there will probably always be a huge number of road team fans in the stands. Win or lose the team is going to do well with television revenues and attendance revenue. If you’re a part of that investment group maybe you believe winning is the best way to drive profit maybe you don’t. Bottom line is if the profits are good the record doesn’t necessarily have to be until it starts affecting the bottom line. I’m guessing that’s going to be pretty elastic for the Raiders given where they’re playing now.

It's apparent that you don't understand the difference between casino owners and football owners. Guys like Wynn and Harrah do not do anything that doesn't return money immediately on their investment. They've built a Las vegas type Stadium and they expect that their investment will be rewarded with a better than 8-8 team. You can bet that the Raiders have made an agreement that allows the investors some input.
