Dropped from 450 to 350.
From walk on to starter.

I like the kids perseverance.

But has he reached his ceiling? There's an expression - Trees don't grow to the sky. My position is "that still leaves a lot of room to grow".

I'm looking at OT's today. Very slim picking in top 20 Tackles to play LT.
Ignoring the obvious pick of Will Campbell, what else is left?
Josh Simmons is the most qualified LT in this draft and was injured. He must pass physical eval and may take time?
Anthony Belton, Wyatt Milum, Jack Nelson, JC Davis, and Ozzy Trapilo look like developmental tackles.
The rest look like RT's or guards or even centers.
Do the developmental tackles look almost ready to start with a little coaching or do they need a year?
Scar did not sound very high on picking a LT in 1st round?
What do we do? FA's suck balls for a lot of cash!

If Campbell is there we take Cambell. If not then I assume they take Carter or McMillan and in round two take a developmental T. There are other DE and WRs that are very promising so taking Campbell make a lot of sense to me

After watching this front office wander around Free Agency, my guess is that both Carter and Hunter will fall to them at #4 and they'll draft Kelvin Banks or Josh Simmons.

They want to change the culture in NE and refuse to push it in the direction they are hoping to take.

What the fuck is there to be positive about today??
Oh, I don't know? You're vertical for one. NE had a great FA. You're getting all flustered on things You're speculating about. Enjoy the moment. Let the rest of FA and the draft play out. He'll, let's see how competitive they are after a few weeks into the season before getting so upset.

NE had a great FA.
The two greatest needs have been known since last year.

#1 A left tackle who can play LT
#2 A WR. At least a #2 WR

We are in Day four of the Free Agent Frenzy and the two greatest needs are still the two greatest needs after spending $292M. This has not been a great FA.

Whoa the defense was just as bad as the offense last year. Yes LT is a need one it appears the plan on addressing in the draft. I don't agree at all the WR was a greater need than LT, DT, DE, IOL. I think and have stated a lot of the WR issues last year were 1. First and 2nd Year guys. 2. Rookie QB. 3. Rookie Coach. 4. New OC.

The grabbed Mack Hollins a plus and should take a stab at Kupp IMO. But all in all this team is better than it was last week.

Who could they get????? They offered millions more to Stanley and Godwin. They don’t want to play here. Not one team will trade away a good/young OT or WR. After the QB they are probably the most valuable positions on the team.

Tell us who they could have got?

You can't just magically get everyone you want. The players and agents have just a little say in it.

There is a lot of negativity surrounding Robinson. Maybe the Pats know something we don't? If he was such a sure fire for the price I'm sure he's asking, wouldn't someone have snagged him already? After all it's day 4. Don't forget I was in the camp to sign him. But now I'm having 2nd thoughts. I don't have a problem admitting that.

Also none of us know what NEs FA strategy or their draft strategy is/was.

Maybe they're 100% sold on Cambell and or Banks and are willing to either with their first pick. Just think if they're right and they select their franchise LT for 5yr rookie salary.

I guess BK being so close to death he's worried he may not see the Pats win another SB
