Thought you two were complaining about sealing the edge. I thought these picks were about gap filling by ILBs.

Hell, I could be wrong....I wasn't paying attention.

Naw, I specifically said that RK was crashing down inside on almost every play.

What I was doing was saying yards per catch is not a good indicator...yards per attempt is a much better stat.

I have already stated where my stats came from...ESPN.com.

Actually, at one point, you were specifically talking about yards per catch.

How many games has Reed missed this season? We have already spoken about how he was late on the pass to the left pylon causing it to be under thrown and the other he was hit and unable to step into the pass...and how Reed didn't come back to it for a very easy PI.

Our run game has been a joke since week 3. Personally, I think you play too much Madden. Would I like to see more deep passes....of course. But if you can't figure out it is hard to properly judge an offense without your top two threats, then we don't need to talk about it. Take Gronk and Edellman away from the Pats, then have their run game be shit, and see if things don't change there.

If right now you check nfl.com NFL Stats: by Player Category footballdb.com Washington Redskins Statistics | The Football Database and espn.com 2015 NFL Player Passing Stats - National Football League - ESPN

You will see that espn has not updated their stats to reflect the most up to date stats of today's already completed games. And I haven't played Madden since sometime in the 90s nor do I play fantasy football.

Even though you attempt to come off as some sort of intellectual in both football and other issues. In reality you are an idiot who is ill-equipped to argue with or debate me. I don't have the time or the inclination to walk your baby-nuts around the block and explain to you step by step, word by word, sentence by sentence what the fuck I'm talkin about.

Some advice........

You'd be far better off if you just STFU and pay attention and what others post, but stay outta grown folks conversations.

I picked that up very early on, but was told it was not relevant to what was happening on the field, by someone who claims that he knows more than I ever could......if only he knew my history!

LMAO!!! You have a history Sty? Go ahead and share. Show me 10 times they went outside. I don't give a fuck what Bullock said he showed you a still of a pre-hand off 7 yards behind the line of scrimmage. Belicheck attacked the middle of the field all day. You thought a pass rush was a crash down. Your history says lets go back to football 101.:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: You might want to review the video before displaying your history. :dhd:

Just watch, N.E. will bust one outside because it looks like Kerrigan is crashing inside on almost every play

Okay, I went back to get your exact quote. You said they would bust "one" because of Kerrigan crashing down. In that case you are correct. Blount bounced one outside of where Kerrigan was. I stand corrected on that one play, he got caught.

As far as history goes I'll put mine up against yours any day pal. 25 years playing and coaching. I don't talk in vague comments. Bring it on. :thumb:

Are you stupid? You continually change your argument. I simply stated where my stats were from.

You have been destroyed because you use arguments of yards per catch as some great measure of success in coaching. I showed you the league leaders in receiving and how they are not vastly better than our WRs in your chosen category.

You complained about play-calling in this game specifically and used YPA as a measure of play-calling in this game. I bitch slapped you with an easy rebuttal of dropped passes today making this game a non-factor on play-calling.

You talk about my nuts and walking them around....you have no choice because I slapped them on your forehead.

I made no assumption at all. Where's your history? Let's talk in specifics. I am good to go anytime you want. :thumb:
What do you want to start with, offense ... defense. Name your game. Gap control, zone, man concepts. Lets roll. I am willing to share histories.

Wow the dick measuring contests are heating up in here.

Yep & part of it appears to be related to some folks wanting to basically say that they were rt about certain things. Really - who cares. I am glad to admit to being wrong about lots of things for this team. I just want a freaking team that makes actual progress. IMO this team has been regressing in a major way recently (and most of it has nothing to do w/ the QB position).

This team needs to collectively get their heads out of their asses. For starters the defense needs to at least keep the running game somewhat in check. They cannot have basically every team have a 100 yd rusher and constantly move the chains. This should be attainable with the current group of players in spite of injuries. A lot of it comes down to discipline and coaching.

On offense they need to cut back on the mistakes & just do their freaking jobs. They should not tolerate guys dropping passes that are rt in their hands. Basically - shut your mouth & do your job. Time for this team to refocus and at least do their best every week regardless of the opponent. I don't care about the scores as long as the team does their best. Yesterday - was quite the opposite of that.

Yep. Very frustrating step back for this team.

What’s evident, though, is that the Redskins can -- and must -- learn lessons from a game like Sunday’s 27-10 loss. And it starts with three words: Do your job. It is a motto the Patriots adhere to, and it’s one that the Redskins completely ignored on Sunday. They dropped passes. They missed tackles. They failed to corral an onside kick. They were in position to do all of these things. They failed.

Sunday wasn’t about a win or a loss for Washington. Or about ripping the Redskins for losing by double digits to perhaps the best team in the NFL. But it was about playing well. If you want to become a good team, it is a basic requisite, because the more you play well consistently, the more you win eventually. Uneven outings lead to sub-.500 records, again and again. And coaching changes. And quarterback changes.

Defenders were pinned in one-on-one situations to make tackles and failed to do so, or receive any assistance from the other 10 Redskins on the field. The defensive scheme has been predicated on gang tackling in defensive coordinator Joe Barry’s first season, but the clan has often relied on its arms instead of its body to make stops. The result has been a defense allowing an average of 457.7 total yards over the past four games, dating from Week 5 against the Atlanta Falcons.

“The thing is that I could understand if we weren’t in position to make the play, but you’re actually in position to make good plays,” defensive end Ricky Jean Francois said. “Your arms should not be what makes a tackle. To a big back like [Blount], no way in hell you’re going to tackle these cats like that. With your hands? No. Even myself, I’m hard on myself because I try to tackle with my hands. It’s not going to work.”

The defense wasn’t the only side of the ball with dysfunctional hands. Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins didn’t receive much help in that category. The Redskins had seven drops in the game, three on Cousins’s first three pass attempts. On the team’s first offensive play, wide receiver Pierre Garcon had a pass go through his hands, bounce off his helmet and into Patriots cornerback Logan Ryan’s grasp for the interception. The Redskins went three and out on their second possession, down 14-0, with drops from tight ends Derek Carrier and Jordan Reed on second and third downs.

The question, as the season’s second half begins against those Saints, is whether Washington can steer clear of disaster. Since Gibbs left — did it again! — the Redskins are one of the NFL’s worst late-season teams, their 16-40 second-half record better only than St. Louis and Cleveland. Depth is tested midway through a brutal NFL season, and the Redskins typically have little. Belief seems to matter more late in the year, and Washington often specializes in skepticism.

Believe it or not, all three of Washington’s playoff appearances this century came thanks to late-season magic; “ultimately it’s a contagious confidence they just haven’t quite found,” said Chris Cooley, who was on all three of those teams. “The biggest difference in all those teams was we were more physical than any team we played.”

Does this team have the physicality for a stretch like that? Over the past four games, they’ve been outrushed, 748-172. After two weeks of talking about stopping the run and re-establishing their own ground game, Washington instead failed to reach 52 rushing yards for the fourth straight game. That’s the longest streak for any NFL team since 1998.

I think the Redskins have given up 150 yards or more in the last 4 or 5 games. (I didn't look it up so I am guessing.) Much of the yardage has been between the tackles. Guys have to fill their gaps, add to that tackling has been poor. SM wants a physical team so men better step up or start looking for a new gig. Barry's defense is a one gap system so no one is exempt. Fill your gap and win your battle!!

Good thoughts Cali. I have witnessed this many times this season on defense. Players out of position, poor tackling habits, not using your arms to tackle, etc. It has been pretty disgraceful. I can understand players perhaps not being quick enough to keep up with certain guys, but every player should be capable of at least slowing down a player via a tackle while help arrives. Something to ponder for future personnel moves.

Man I miss Sean Taylor - he would never put up with this crap.

You got it. BTW - can someone please tell me what in the hell Murphy has been doing in the last month? I almost forgot that he was on the team.
