He has been inducted in the Colorado Business HoF. Seems like heck of an owner and heck of a guy.

I guess I`ll be the one to look like the bad guy here. Bowlen is very well respected and admired by not only all Bronco fans but also the rest of the NFL since he bought the team many,many yrs ago. It`s no secret or news in Bronco Country that`s for sure. His leadership and personality and love for his players and this organization is well known. You might ck his bio Brok. Very interesting and informative. Its also very sad this man is dealing with a horrible disease that no person should have to go through IMO.

No good or bad guys here. Just saw that tweet the other night. They mentioned his charities and philanthropic works. I just had not realized the amount of success the broncos have had since he took over. There are teams that have to battle their ownership to be successful and then there are teams that benefit. I am glad we are the latter.

It is sad that Mr. Bowlen has such a terrible disease but it is wonderful that he has been honored.

He definitely has been about as class act as they come for an owner. He hasn't always been the richest of the owners but he has made sure that he is never a cheap skate that keeps this team away from the chance to be a winning organization. Really nervous for what happens when he retires (completely) or someone else is named owner.

Ditto on that CD. Whoever it is whether sibling or...I hope they intrust Elway with even more as far as the organizational "powers that be" as I think he`s already demonstrated a keen eye and ability to handle all things related to run a big business IMO. Like you said,and we`ve seen in the past, how new ownership has been instumental in collapsing succsessful NFL teams.

Bowlen has for the most part been one of the better owners out there. My only complaint would be in the way he handled the team's cash flow issues during the new stadium funding. That one mistake really leaves a dark mark on an otherwise pretty clean run team.
