Well you can’t blame the coaches if the player shows no sign of pain. JD, likely didn’t know he was hurt because of the adrenaline accumulated on a 50 yard run.
If the coaches trot that tired ass "JD's gotta be JD." bullshit out there or something similar. Damn Skippy coaches will shoulder some of blame.

Ultimately it's on the player himself and if JD doesn't self-coŕrect. You can bet some LB or DL will make the necessary correction for him.

For the first time in a long time you could really get a sense of how freakin fast Payne is by how he zoomed down the field to help escort Fowler to the end zone.
I dont remember ever see him move that fast for that length of field.
