Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen
Not sure if any of you ever got into EQ, Wow, etc. but Pantheon has been in development for some time and in pre-alpha right now and has me super pumped about getting really into the game. It's a throwback to the old-school genre that doesn't hold your hand through its content and forces you to actually discover the world ala Everquest.
It has old school tenants such as harsher consequences on death, longer xp grinds, and the comeback of the "quaternity" with actual support classes.
The truly great thing about the game is that it is being developed by the co-creator of EQ, Brad McQuade, and is being crowd-funded so there isn't some money grabbing production studio forcing the game to sacrifice game tenants for profit. Looking forward for them to get into alpha, and then the hype train should really start picking up.
