Band of Brothers
A Dreamer...trying to find my way home for dinner
I was listening to Marty Lurie yesterday and he was talking how Panik reminds him in a way like Posey. I agree with that. I know it's real early in Panik's career but he does handle himself in professional way. He seems wiser than his age. Back in 2010 Posey got called up and stepped right in as a starter and changed the direction of that season. Panik looks real smooth at the plate and in the field. He plays with a smile on his face but you can also tell he burns to win inside.
I know it's not fair to the kid to put on him the Posey comparison but I call it like like I see it. The kid has that spark in his eyes and he could make a difference from here on out. I think it would be wise for Panik to hang near Posey and talk to Posey about when he got called up in 2010. Panik is a sponge ready to soak up as much info as possible.
Posey could really help Panik who looks like Posey's little brother. I think it would be good for Posey also to take the kid under his wing. Everybody should have a little brother .
Go Giants !!
