This is what I don't get. Even if they hold him today, in 2 weeks it's going to be the same thing. It's not like they're going through training camp type drills in Oakland, he's still going to be out of game shape. And that week they have a Thursday division game against the Chargers. So 2 divisional games in 5 days.

It doesn't make sense not to get him some reps today.
