1) Brat. Marvin re-signs and no changes are made for at least 3 weeks. Then Carson asks for a trade or threatens to retire and Brat is fired within the week.

2. Medical Staff. It was reported by the Carson insider Carson openly had a riff with the medical staff. He was tired of 1) all the misdiagnoses and 2) the coverup after those misdiagnoses, they would never tell the truth. Some 3.5 weeks after Carson threatens to retire if not traded, the medical staff has been replaced.

3. Chad. It was clear that Marvin had grown tired of Chad for what seemed to be years earlier. And also recall Marvin and Brown had been negotiating on a new contract for at least a year before he actually signed. Despite that, at some point Brown still picked up Chad's option well before he had to. That said, it was also clear that Carson also become tired of Chad. And then Brown decides to trade him despite having picked up his option and him being under contract, and this right around the time he meets Carson after the lockout ends. This could very well have been partially or fully Marvin, but the sequence of events points to it more likely having been another desperate measure to get Carson to change his mind.

4. Bubble. It was reported by the Carson insider that Carson at some point offered to return some of his signing bonus or offered some similar deal of the like for Brown to build a bubble. However, to be fair, Marvin has been asking for one for years and was one of his big sticking points to re-signing. At the same time, I wouldn't be surprised if Marvin came running back with his tail between his legs with the typical Brown promise that he'll get one at some point. I could see one argue this either way, but I wouldn't dismiss for a second this has Carson's name at least partially on it.

Of course you're a homer and despise Carson, so I wouldn't expect any objectivity out of you.

1) There was no way in F Bratkowski made it out of last season alive regardless of what Carson wanted. If Carson had said, i would come back for a discount and extend my contract if you rehire Bratkowski...Brat was as good as dead. He was never making it past this season no matter what anyone said, because the fans were calling for his boring ass playing butt since midseason and it was getting scary.

2) I wouldn't know about the medical staff, but as Grad said, Palmer didn't even use the teams medical staff to do any of his work, so what the F would Palmer care?

3) There was no way in shit if Brown expected to resign Lewis that Chad was gonna sniff a team event. Chad was simply resigned just to get picks of any value for him, and we found it in NE, just like what was anticipated.

4) The bubble has been reported and reported and reported as Marvin Lewis issue and the travel associated with playing in the indoor facility further up north on crap days. If Palmer was willing to give back a portion of his signing bonus, then why teh F didn't he just have the freaking thing built and Brown slowly pay him back over time? I know that is not Palmer's responsibility, but if it was he who wanted it that bad, and he was willing to sink millions back into the organization for a damn bubble, then he should have done something about it.

You are calling me a f'n homer, yet you defend Palmer tooth and nail no matter the issue. You are a disgusting Palmer homer and you know it. So back off my jock and look in the mirror you Freaking homer.

I would think any such changes that were brought on to romance Palmer would be rolled back in one way or another, if Palmer was the predominant variable in the Brown logic equation. I can't imagine Brown would back out of a practice bubble agreement for example. I'm sure romancing Palmer had something to do with some of the things we did; however, it is likely that many of those things would have happened anyway. With that said. IT'S SO NOT OUR PROBLEM ANYMORE. BYE PALMER!!!

1) You REALLY have to be a homer to believe Browns cares anything of what the fans think. Once you're "in", you're "in" and you only leave when Brown is ready to move on. And if it took you the middle of this past season to realize Brat sucked and call for his head, then you're the only one. Fans have been calling for a new OC since forever. But it helps make for a nice argument. Can't blame you for the effort.

2) The only time Carson didn't use the medical staff was when he hurt his knee and his elbow injury. And it's pretty standard for players to get multiple opinions from SPECIALISTS when major injuries are concerned. On a day-to-day basis, you'd have to be delusional to think Carson didn't use them. Furthermore, you don't think when his all-pro center, LT, RB are getting misdiagnosed, and their careers cut short, he isn't going to have a gripe? What a ridiculous assertion. One thing is for certain though, he'd have more invested than Marvin.

3) "Just like what was anticipated". Brown picked up Chad's option because he wanted to keep him, not because of trade bait. Homer response. The Carson scenario I presented is just as - if not more - plausible. Only a homer could outright deny the possibility.

4) Another ridiculous assertion. Again, only a homer could outright deny the possibility, or even the fact that it may have been stars aligning with both Marvin demanding it and Brown trying to coax Carson back.

For one, it's pretty hard for any semi-rational person to not defend Carson when there are people on the board who admittedly despise Carson and care for little but to denigrate anything and everything he's done. Secondly, despite the fact I believe Carson was the catalyst behind these changes, unlike you, I haven't absolutely denied the other's (Marvin's) potential role in these changes.

There is only one homer in this debate..

Crash, you do tend to see through orange and black glasses sometimes, and as for Flaming, Carson could shit in his yard, and Flaming would say he was trying to help the grass grow.

flaming jumps on anyone who says anything derogatory about Palmer.

Palmer might be a suck ass Bitch, but his suckiness may have never surfaced if Brown wasn't such a crappy owner.

It just doesn't matter anymore.

as far as I'm concerned Palmer was probably responsible for the murder/r*pe of several Cincinnati homeless veterans, but that's just a feeling. I have no facts to base it on.

Crash sees through orange and black glasses SOMETIMES.

Suggestion is I NEVER don't defend Carson.

So much for your impartiality.

I've been critical of Carson where it deserves. But when the only people that post about him are on the far end of the hater spectrum, it's hard not to 1) defend him and 2) even lean slightly on the other side.

But of course, that shouldn't stop you from making a joke.

You're right I do, but what does that have to do with my statement that Flaming has his nose half up Palmer's vagina?

Because you are wrong. He has his nose all the way up Carsons vagina. I can't think of one time has has said something bad about him. I'm starting to think he is 1) Jordan 2) Carson himself 3) Carson's wife.

7 people have responded in this thread since the debate and not one substantive post.

I have reasonably responded, to start with, and you responded back. We are in disagreement, there is nothing else to say, but how does his dirty California vagina smell?

There was little reasonable about your response. You outright denied any possibility of Palmer's involvement in the changes. You were shown to be a homer and resorted to personal attacks.

You know, children's stuff.

I could ask you how Brown's dick tastes, but I made through grade school a LONG time ago.
