Pacioretty tells TSN he is 'disgusted' at lack of suspension

"I am upset and disgusted that the league didn't think enough of (the hit) to suspend him," Pacioretty told TSN. "I'm not mad for myself, I'm mad because if other players see a hit like that and think it's okay, they won't be suspended, then other players will get hurt like I got hurt."

I believe he was trying to guide my head into the turnbuckle. We all know where the turnbuckle is. It wasn't a head shot like a lot of head shots we see but I do feel he targeted my head into the turnbuckle.

In Chara's defense, he neither hit Pacioretty with his large club nor ate the player once was defenseless - both of which are allegedly natural instincts of typical giants. If anything, Chara should be commended for overcoming these terrible stereotypes and showing that giants can function right alongside normal humans in modern society.

But on Patches comments, I think he has every right to be peeved. He deserves an apology at the least. Heck, there were times when I was playing sports where I was part of a players injury (couple sprained/broken ankles sliding into home...or my foot), and even if it wasn't "my fault" I'd still go up to them after the game and apologize for the situation and make sure they were okay. Maybe that's a girl thing, but I just considered it sportsmanship.

Yeah, what the fuck does it matter where Chara's eyes are at? He knows the wall is coming up and all he has to do is just push him slightly into it. This is the weakest of all the defenses to Chara's action.

I don't recall Cooke apologizing for his hit on Savard. I don't recall any hockey player ever apologizing for a hit that injured a player. I don't mean to pick on Cooke. Feel free to to change his name with any you want. Chara has already said he feels bad about what happened and it bothers him. I can't remember the last time a hockey player has said something like that.
