Not unlike offering a kid you think is a go and finding out they don't take it. Either way you have to either over offer and shake things out when everything is done, or scramble as kids either don't lock in or flip when they were verbal commits.

The entire thing is just ugly.

I think I read USC gave out 131 or 141 offers. I'm sure every school does about the same. I'm guessing you offer every five star and every four star you can and only the three star kids you really want or they would all just accept the offer and your whole class is 3* kids.

He needs to up his game then lol.

I mean I'm guessing he's not offering as many simply because has that whole OKG stuff.

I've been critical of that stuff all along. He's starting to get a few more looks at higher level players, but not nearly enough if he wants to truly get up on the porch and stay there. I mean we all get having your culture and holding kids to your standards. And some programs key in on different things. But don't limit the pond you are willing to fish in. If everyone is over offering and finding ways of making it all right in the end, by all means get up there do that thing.

I really think with them it's more he's still just got the kind of kids he was after and had some success with at Boise, which is all good and fine, but you really need to set your goals a lot higher now. He's landing more of the high level kids he probably always offered anyway and didn't get as many bites on. The kids you offer, but don't probably get too aggressive knowing it's a long shot and your time is better spent on kids more 'get-able'. Time to start really going full on at the 5 stars.

From what I heard after asking a buddy of mine a few min ago the LB who flipped (Bo Calvert)took Chips offer right away which tells me he's seen USC and the LBs they have already coming in who are solid (shut down their recruitment) and saw they are close to getting another 4*. So he took a good offer with a school that doesnt have four guys in front of him in his own class. This happens every year but usually there's a good chance they go to other PAC schools but now with Chip there he's going to be Johnny on the spot.

Yeah, there were a couple of recruits, the LB that Chip "flipped" and I think a WR, who decommitted because USC cooled on them. It's unlikely USC will do much in the early signing period (I heard maybe 8 or 9) because they have several players who are undecided on going to the NFL.

Another drama free LOI for the Petersen Huskies. 1-2 more potentials to join in Feb, but awesome feeling to know 95% of the class is done. And what a class it is. WOOF!!!

If that little drama seeking fvck says 'Notre Dame' on a local Seattle news network then his name is mud.

Are those the only teams he could go to? What i mean is he's only got a top two?

Yep. Word is that UW locked him up last night. The little prick could have just sent in his LOI today instead of playing this out to the last minute. It has to make some of his future teammates a little pissed I would think.

That he's doing it on a Seattle network has to be a good sign. But for real, just email your letter and shut the fuck up.
