Weird, at the beginning of the year he said he was gonna stay... :rolleyes2:
@AlaskaGuy, didn't you make a bet about where he'd go in the draft?

I don't remember seeing that, but that certainly doesn't mean he didn't. lol

He wouldn't be the first guy to have 2nd thoughts when those NFL dollars came a callin' though.

LOL. I didn't write the article. I didn't even comment on it. But putting up stats from the previous six seasons as proof is pretty funny considering what USC has accomplished. Oh and in this past decade USC won two Rose Bowls ,five 10 or more win seasons and finished in the top 5 three times while under sanctions for a good part of that time . I would say thats pretty close to being the second best team in the conference in that period while being "garbage" lol

*Edit- In this past decade USC has won 3 Rose Bowls ( I forgot last season) or to put it in perspective more than Oregon has in 100 years of football. So if USC was "garbage" this past decade do they even have a word to describe 100 years of Duck football ?

2 rose Bowls and a Fiesta for Oregon in the last decade.
also the overall record for USC is 3rd best not 2nd.

Yes while USC was "garbage" . USC won all their Rose bowls this past decade.
Pretty sure USC has more Rose bowl victories this "garbage " decade than the Duck have all time. That's pretty sad.

How far off am I?
I just checked. If you count the 1916 Rose Bowl win Oregon has three total all time Rose Bowl wins in a 100 years. Or equal to USCs "garbage" last ten seasons. You should be proud.

3 Rose Bowl wins for USC in 10 years. 3 Rose Bowl wins for Oregon in 100 years.

Does this mean Oregon is 1/10th the program USC is? :noidea:

I think they would have to have at least one NC to be 1/10th

I'd be an honorary Trojan for the day just to help. Dude has to go if the conference is going to thrive.
Well, the conference has gone way up in revenue under him and that's part of the problem. He has a lot of support from the member institutions because of those numbers. Sure, we can all agree they should be better and not being able to get the Direct TV thing resolved in all of these years is just plain bad. There are a lot of things to be critical about, but until the schools feel that way he's not going anywhere. Unfortunately.

Money is the problem. School presidents see more money and think everythings great. But Coaches and fans know this conference shoots itself in the foot when it comes to game times/dates and scheduling.

The revenue has gone up sure, but so has every single fbs conference's revenue. There is zero reason the Pac12 isn't the highest payout conference with how Larry Scott sold the soul of the conference to ESPN and Fox with the scheduling and having universities massively over spend on facilities and coach's with his grossly underfunded negotiations that he promised everyone.

Preaching to the choir here guys. I think most of us want to see Scott gone. I just doubt that's going to happen anytime soon given at least what the public praises are from the presidents and staff of these schools.

Good get. USCs looking to get Amon Ra St. Brown outta Mater Dei to come along with his QB JT Daniels. I think UCLA is going to hurt Oregon and other schools with recruiting this cycle taking kids who would have gone somewhere other than USC

Can't remember the exact number but one of the main problems is I think almost all schools have different presidents and AD's since Scott conned the universities into agreeing to this current deal. So they are excited they are seeing more money but it is still a fraction of what it should be/was promised. I still don't understand how the main HQ is in San Francisco yet we as a conference barely done anything in terms of streaming. You'd figure this would be the one conference where we'd have leverage over the networks yet we tuck tail when they say hey USC, go to Pullman on a Friday night or Wazzu, go fly into wildfires that people are evacuating from just because ESPN says dance.

You would think this would be the first reality slap to the back of the head of the Duck fans who still swing from Kellys sack, but I'm actually seeing posts from them gushing over Chip landing one of their top local targets like its some great honor.
My Fn god. Is the meth cooked in all those trailers in that state laced with delusion?
