I'd agree that it isn't impressive, but I do think it is a mild improvement over the previous bow tieins.

Considering everything else he's fucked up, mild improvement in bowl tie-ins doesn't mean much.

i mean honestly the farther east they go the more advantage the other side has. drawing teams from the ACC and SEC have been few. and only playing Big 10 and XII would get boring in my opinion.

Honestly, the new LA stadium is too good to be vs. the MWC champ. This should be vs. a P5 conference. Drop the MWC game to the Sun Bowl.

The Mountain West doesn’t have a true pecking order. The bowl matchups are based on best possible games and geography.
