I kind of felt this one coming though. Just made too much sense. Too many freshmen and sophomores coming off a road win against a ranked team, all of a sudden being told you were top 25. Knew there was a letdown coming.

Whatever. I don't expect us to be good until next year. All I'm hoping for is 8-4, and maybe Eno staying.

Cal is all smoke and mirrors at the moment.
They beat UW, but really UW beat UW. 6 dropped balls and the worst tackling I've seen a UW D have since the willingham era is why they lost that game.
Cal looked mediocre at best the next game.
Barely beat a sad ole miss team and kind of needed some Pac12 replay ref fuckery to hold it.

This isn't the NFL with just a handful of teams and its playoffs or bust. Give me a Rose bowl over having to go play Bama in some home game for them in N.O. or Atlanta any day of the week.

Some other team that isn't UW making the playoffs doesn't help UW make the playoffs so who gives a flying fuck. I won't ride the coattails of another Pac team. I'd be mildly happy for a few friends that might follow the least objectionable ones, but none of those will ever sniff the playoffs anyway.

I doubt if Cal goes to the playoffs .. or any PAC team for that matter but Cal has turned it around this year from the previous few seasons. They don't look like world beaters but they play a solid game and they have a good coaching staff.

If their offense catches up to the level of it's defense like it did yesterday, then it's not out of the question.

Cal will not go into Eugene and win. The thunderstorm took home field advantage away from UW. If they replayed in Seattle with full house UW wins.

No, UCLA finally grew up. I will say the only real thing that was “Couged it” was the team mentally checked out when the refs fucked us on the fumble recovery. You can’t let one bad call in the 3rd quarter lead to that.

No, UCLA finally grew up. I will say the only real thing that was “Couged it” was the team mentally checked out when the refs fucked us on the fumble recovery. You can’t let one bad call in the 3rd quarter lead to that.

I'm not sure what happened. It was 49-17 Cougs when I fell asleep on the couch. Woke up to 63-60 Cougs and watched the last of it.
